We don't publish specific release dates, but within the next three months we are looking to have a public copy out. As we all are current or graduating students and have other jobs and responsibilities we can't dedicated all of our manpower towards Accord5, so we take quality over quantity. We'd rather have a solid release, then a buggy one with lots of features. Don't worry though, V2 is amazing, and will not disappoint, it just takes time!

Thank you all for your patience!

Will this version have a "admin has replied" feature?
I think its very usefull when escalating tickets to a higher level of support.

one thing I'm intensely curious about is whether you're planning to replace the aging and klunky scriptaculous/prototype package, with possibly jQuery, or one of the other toolkits (such as YUI, mootools, or dojo).

Hi all you hard-working accord-cowboys! ph34r.gif

I've just had an small and quick usability idea, in relation to my last feature request, about embedding of screencasts/tutorials in the knowledgebase - then it would be nice if you somehow could mark those video articles of with an video -icon, so that the video articles stands out from the text articles.. and then maybe give the text articles an whitepaper ..something ..like.. icon rolleyes.gif

..it where just an idea i got.. im really looking forward for this new release to take over the help-desk world!! cool.gif

I have installed your software on my server but have an issue.

There is a sql script/query error during installation. The application cannot connect to any sql database yet the LOCALHOST is running MySQl 4.4.

It still keeps asking for MySQL 4.1 or later.

What can anyone do to help cos I'm changing my mind.

Thanks!

Any kind of time frame for a realease? Just curious if it is this year or next year for version 2. I see someone says it is only 7% complete??? This correct?

Great work and great software. Just missing some of the features version 2 has that would make it perfect.

Does version 2 have these features?

Add multiple attachments?
When replying allow you to set what the status is as far as if you want the customer to review your changes or comments?
will you be able to have the ticket email multiple users when you post a comment?
Or assign multiple users to a ticket if they belong to a group or selecting a group?

Thanks again and this looks great!

Cant wait for version 2!!! smile.gif

Version 2 will definitely be this year. We plan on releasing it during the summer. Most of the features you mentioned will be included, but we don't have a frozen feature set yet. The 7% is based on the tracker, which hasn't been updated with some of the work I have done. Plus, development is slow right now as I am still in school, but I get out next week. After that, it's full-on for Trellis Desk 2.0

Sounds great, DJ! I'm very excited about this, and very pleased with what is already, in my opinion, the best help desk software out there.
